Seán Young, Wavegarden’s Head of Development Projects, joins episode 19 of Beyond the Ocean. Young discusses his role in helping parks go from concept to reality and the steps new surf parks must take to create a successful surfing experience. He also looks at what’s to come for Wavegarden and the surf park industry as a whole.

ABOUT SEÁN YOUNG:

Seán Young was a founder member of Locum Destination Consulting, the Head of Colliers International Destination Consulting and now a Destination Development Advisor to Wavegarden, SEVEN, Colliers and other clients. He has 26 years of experience in the planning, development and delivery of large-scale destination development projects and leisure and culture-led regeneration. Working closely with clients, he provides strategic development advice supported by detailed market, financial and operational analysis.
