Episode 1 - Guy Kawasaki

Guy Kawasaki, the legendary author, podcast host, VC, and tech industry legend joins us on our first episode of Beyond the Ocean to discuss his experiences surfing (he learned to surf in his 60’s!), his views on surf parks and human-made surfing experiences, a brief intro different surf park wave technologies, Guy's background and career, and some of his ideas for the future.

We're joined on this show by John Luff, Founder of Surf Park Central, who provides a brief into the surf park industry and some details on the leading wave technologies on the market. . 

ABOUT GUY:

Guy Kawasaki is the chief evangelist of Canva and the creator of Guy Kawasaki’s Remarkable People podcast. He is an executive fellow of the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley), and adjunct professor of the University of New South Wales. He was the chief evangelist of Apple and a trustee of the Wikimedia Foundation. He has written Wise GuyThe Art of the Start 2.0The Art of Social MediaEnchantment, and eleven other books. Kawasaki has a BA from Stanford University, an MBA from UCLA, and an honorary doctorate from Babson College.
