Transcript:

Hello world. This is Chris Kluesener - I'm your host for Beyond the Ocean. This is a new interview series exploring the future of technology and its impact on surfing, especially surf parks. Surf parks are a new movement, helping people many miles from the coast to ride waves and get into the sport of Kings, as they call it in Hawaii, making surfing much more accessible and attractive for many people. Up until about five years ago, this new kind of technology was not accessible by most people given the cost, but that is starting to change. We're at a tipping point for wave technologies that are becoming more accessible, more parks are being built around the world and more people are getting into the sport as a result. So join me starting July, 2020. As we kick off this interview series with authors, actors, professional surfers and industry experts, as they talk us through their experiences in and beyond the ocean.
